    you know, this habit of eating late at night is still here and i can't break it. it's a very very very bad habit and it costs me, if not gain, than at least this stale-mate. i am not losing, i am not gaining. but i do want to lose. i want the last 5#s gone. gah.

    nothing to report
    i am still in limbo as far as weight loss goes. i am not sure why i can't get motivated but it just does not seem to happen. not that i don't think about it, i certainly do. it's kind of hard to explain. i am not in the "mood" perhaps? it's vague, i know, but i don't know how else to phrase it. my weight over the last month though crept up another pound or two, depending on the day. i need to get a grip on things before the holidays start or i will be gaining way too much. i am ok to be at 116 but even now, at 117-118 #s I am starting to feel a littl uncomfortable.

    if anyone has any motivational tips, i would like to hear them. i need motivation.

    ok, i freaked out yesterday - my weight jumped from 116 to 118 in a week. today i am at 117 so i think it'll go down again. i due to have my period next week so some of it may be due to water retention. still, this is not what i want to see on the scale. i am ok with staying at 116 for a while but i don't want to go up for sure.

    i know full well why i am not losing weight. it's time-related. first, i have been on vacation (not as much exercise + more eating). second, i had a few social obligations in the form of weddings within one month. one i was in and that was a lot of work and cut into my time. and last but not least, i have been sick for a week with a cold. yes, a cold in the summer, it feels awful. so, i have not exercised enough for about a month now. i have also not been eating as well.

    i re-started the exercise program now - went to the gym yesterday and did ok. though my chest hurt and my cardio is for shit. i am still not 100% healthy. but i felt so good about finally exercising! it was all worth it. now i have to get my eating in order as well. mainly, i need to stop eating at night. it's a habit i don't seem to be able to break. even yesterday i snacked once i got home from the gym. i need to concentrate on this. with any luck and a good deal of dedication i hope to start the weight loss again. for now, i am ok with not gaining. 116 is a pretty comfortable weight but i do want to get to 110 first and then see if i want to keep going.

    yay for me
    i am back from vacation and i did not gain more than a pound. that's amazing considering that i ate a lot of stuff. i am proud of myself. hope everyone is well.

    there is one thing that i started doing in the past two months or so that i don't like. i eat very late at night. partly, it is because my boyfriend does not like to eat alone and waits until i come home. ideally, i would not eat past 7:30 pm. on the days when i go to the gym after work i used to eat a light snack before the gym and then drink soy milk on the way home in the car right after the gym, around 9 pm. now i tend to come home by 9:30 pm and then have a meal at 10 pm. it is usually a small meal, but still, it is not enough time between going to bed and eating, only an hour and a half at best.

    i don't like doing this but i also understand that my boyfriend does not want to eat alone. it doesn't help that i am usually a little bit hungry so i eat not just for company but because i actually do want to eat. but that's the point - going to bed just slightly hungry is ok with me and probably helps me lose weight. i think i will try to just have some hot tea and keep him company while he eats but not actually have any solid food. i think it may work.

    i am in sore need of a break. i think that being stressed and not having time leads to me overeating. though things are easier in warm weather for me anyway. but, let's face it, i want to lose another 10-15 #s and i really will need to work for those. and to work i need concentration. and i am distracted with other things. how can i stay focused in a situation like that? i am not sure how to handle this.

    i went to a seder yesterday and ate way too much. :-( in addition, i was not able to exercise on monday or tuesday, as i normally do. (and obviously not yesterday either.) i will go tonight for two hours but i am afraid of gaining this week. i hope not. i'll do my best to be good for the rest of the week. and maybe i can exercise during the weekend. we'll see.

    i am here :)
    i am kind of stuck... well, right now i am stuck at work and missed 2 of my gym classes :(

    i've been here 11 hours now, not counting 45 minutes for lunch. boooo.... i hope to leave in the next half an hour but am not sure if i'll be able to.

    that's that. i am busy. very busy. i will write more and will come back, i promise, but now is a very bad time. and i know that it is a matter of priorities. unfortunately, job is always on top because having an income is not an option and i must work to do that.

    so, as i said above, that's that. i am eating, at least, more or else healthy. it's the exercise that is lacking.

    i met my goal for the week. consistency would be key. so far, i am bouncing up and down. next week is period... again. i will have a lot of travel in the next month both for business and for pleasure where i will not be able to keep daily logs on lj. i am suspending this log for now. i am still keeping track in fitday thought. i'll resume at the end of march. hopefull, i'll be at least three pounds lighter by then.

    i am starting over
    i stepped on the scale today and it told me i weighed 119 #s. i think it is lying but i also think that i was not able to stay focused as much as i need to up to this point. i am just eating in the wrong manner and the wrong things. so, tomorrow will be day one again.
